Julija Mockutė is a curator and cook working and living in Rotterdam. Currently she is a curatorial assistant at Kunstinstituut Melly. Her practice is informed by trauma studies and the politics of labor, with a special interest in feminist and beyond-human memories, and how these themes are reproduced and reflected in contemporary art. Special interests include permaculture gardening, collective singing and seasonal cooking.
Julija holds a BA in Liberal Arts & Sciences, with a major in Sociology and an MA in Museum Studies. Julija has worked previously at the Van Abbemuseum, Patty Morgan, and Framer Framed.
